Vivi's 1st Birthday!

Vivi had a wonderful 1st birthday!  We appreciate all of our family and friends that came to help us celebrate.  Vivi we love you so much and we can't believe a year has already gone by!  We are looking forward to celebrating many, many, many more years to come!!!
Sheila, Kaelyn, and my mom decorating.  Sheila always puts her special touch on things...she's soooo creative!

Vivi wasn't a big fan of the cake...
...but she LOVED the rocking chair that the Levine's brought her.

Vivi's 1st Christmas

We kicked off Christmas with a visit from Bill and DeDe.  We were so thankful they were able to come and spend a few days with us because Vivi ended up having a double ear infection.  Grandma and Grandpa gave her lots of TLC while Damian and I wrapped up things at work so that we could enjoy our time off for Christmas.
Vivi started feeling better a couple of days after she began her antibiotics.  We ventured out to do some last minute Christmas shopping.  She is so happy to finally be able to ride in her big girl seat!
She's still our little monkey.
Christmas morning we had fun opening presents at home.  We must have been good all year, because Santa brought us everything we wanted...especially sweet little Vivi!

Later that day, we headed to Ft. Smith.  Ron and Abby had all of us over for a delicious Christmas dinner.
Emma did a great job wrapping presents this year!
Kate and her first Little People book...these have entertained Vivi for hours (literally, we read these over and over on our Thanksgiving trip to Atlanta and back), so we thought Kate would like them, too.
Gandpa Paul and Grandma Ann (Bill's parents).
The day after Christmas, my parents, Sheila, Stephen, Nicholas, and Kaelyn came to visit us.

'Tis the season to be jolly

Our little cutie-pie...
Last week was a busy week!  Tuesday, Vivi's Christmas present from Aunt SheShe and Uncle Stephen arrived and she had a ball playing with the box it came in.  She climbed up and down, up and down.
Wednesday night, Damian watched Vivi, while I went to a girls ornament exchange party at Jennifer Alderson's house.  It was so much fun!  Jennifer outdid herself with all of the delicious food and pretty decorations.

Here's Kristina, Jennifer, Karren, and Gloria...
Those little snowman cake pops were yummy!
Boriana and Kristina...
Connie Jo opening an ornament for the 10th time, since hers kept getting stolen!
Thursday, Aunt Sarah (DeBuhr) came over to take care of Vivi while Damian and I went to a Christmas party hosted by the Walkers.  They sure do know how to party!  We had a blast!!

Here's Collins, Tom, Boriana, Jason, Lee, and Damian...
Les and me...
Okay, now for a few action shots...Shawn talked Les (she can sing!) into karaokeing and she recruited some back-up singers/dancers.
They are getting down to "Proud Mary," in case you were wondering.

Saturday, my parents came to stay with Vivi, while Damian and I went to Ft. Smith to watch Emma perform in the Nutcracker.  That night, we also went to a Christmas party at Savor.  Vivi always has so much fun with Grandpa Tom and Lola Grace.  I'm pretty sure they were exhausted by the time they left.  It is non-stop action when Vivi is awake!  Oh, and Sunday we celebrated my dad's birthday with lunch at Pesto Cafe.
We had been anticipating Emma's performance for months and we were so proud of her!  She looked beautiful and danced perfectly!  By the way, these pictures are taken with Sarah and Brad's new camera.  Aren't they great!
Damian and I took advantage of our night out on the town.  Savor was FANTASTIC!!!!  We even went to Bordino's afterward!
The Creighton's (seated in the middle) put together the Christmas soiree at Savor.
And here's one last picture of our happy little girl...
