Bouncing Baby & Bubbles

Last week was eventful! I started to feel the baby bounce around in my belly, my parents came to visit, Damian and I had a date (dinner at Savor and then a movie...the Hangover), and I got to have brunch with some girlfriends (including my friend Darcy who recently moved to Atlanta)! Then this week, DeDe came to visit us on Wednesday night. Vivi got lots of love from her G-parents!!

Kickin' Back

Damian, Vivi, and I went shoe shopping (for Vivi) this past weekend and here's a picture of her after...

She always sees us with our feet kicked up when we're sitting on the sofa, but when she tries, she's not big enough to reach yet. But she's a smartie!!!! She brought her little chair in from outside and put it close enough that she could kick her feet up with us.

One exciting development this week was that I started to feel the new baby move! It's all still so amazing even though this is the second time around.

Our past week...

Happy Birthday, Daddy! Damian's birthday was this past Monday, so we celebrated with an ice cream cake!!

Montessori was closed three days this week, so Damian spent the day with Vivi on Wednesday and I stayed home with her Thursday and Friday. We went to the library for Baby Bookworm one day and had a great time. Before it started, we went outside on the terrace so Vivi could have a little snack...

They have a really neat roof-top garden...

During story time we sang lots of songs, played with ducks and bells, and they blew bubbles for the kids. We saw several friends we hadn't seen in awhile, along with Mr. Eric and baby Nick who were kind enough to snap this picture of us...

Girlfriends

Here are a few pics of Vivi and Milla at Stephanie and Brian's baby shower last weekend. Looks like they already enjoy parties together...I'm sure it's just the first of many!

Vivi's New Tooth...A Sweet Tooth!

Noooo, she doesn't have any new "real" teeth yet (still only 6 total), but she finally likes sweets! Vivi has always turned down anything dessert-like, which has always surprised us. Damian let her try his drumstick the other night and she liked it so much she took it over.

In this clip, Damian asks Vivi if she wants to share with him and it seems like she's pretty hesitant...

We're not worried about her recent fondness to sweets...Vivi takes care of her teeth by brushing what seems like 50 times a day and I even let her work with the floss, too!
