We have had a wonderful summer! Vivi has become one of the "big kids" in her class, Addy Jane moved up to Early Primary, I changed jobs and am now working from home, we went on a Lux family vacation to the beach, the girls experienced their 1st circus, and Damian celebrated his 36th birthday!
Vivi is now 3 1/2 and Addy Jane is 1 1/2 and they are so much fun!! I love to see her interact with her friends. The other day while picking up the girls fromschool, we ran into the Maners. Katie was telling me that Thompson keeps talking about marrying Vivi and that they will live next door. Thompson overheard our conversation, looked up at his mom, and said, "Mom, I REALLY want to marry Vivi." I looked at Vivi and asked her if she wanted to marry Thompson. She looked down, had a huge grin, and shook her head "yes."
During our car ride home, Vivi told me, "Thompson wants to marry me and I want to wear my Rapunzel dress" (which he had given her for her birthday). The conversation continued and she told me she wanted to "get married at...there was a pause (and I thought she'd say church)...the wedding." So then I asked her why she wanted to marry Thompson and she said, "because he's my best friend." Oh my heart just melted!!!!
I asked if she thought Addy Jane should get married. She thought that was a good idea and told me, "I think she should marry one of her friends." I asked who (thinking she would suggest Henry Maner), but she said, "she should marry Preston." I asked if she was sure Addy Jane shouldn't marry Henry so we could keep it all in the family and she said, "no, I think Preston is better for her."
