Our Autumn Celebration/Cookie Party

Last weekend, we invited a few of our friends over for chili, chili dogs, and sugar cookies! We had a great time and hope everybody else did, too!

Vivi was very sweet with the babies. She loved giving Preston his pacifier and rocking him in the swing...

Katie said that when she was putting Henry down for a snooze in the crib that Vivi put her hands between the slats and patted Henry's back...this is such a good sign!

One of the fun things we did was decorate Halloween and Autumn themed sugar cookies. I think the adults liked it as much as the kids!

I made so many cookies, we couldn't decorate them all by hand, so Katie, Les, and I used the leftover icing to drizzle all the leftover cookies...

Atlanta - part 2

Finally, the rest of the pictures from our trip to visit Bill & DeDe in Atlanta! We had the most wonderful time. Bill & DeDe took us to see so many great things and fed us really well.

One of the first places we visited was the aquarium. Vivi loved seeing all the new and exciting things!

After the aquarium, we had lunch at Varsity. We really enjoyed our chili dogs, onion rings, and french fries...

Thursday was my actual birthday and DeDe and Bill took us out to a really nice dinner at Seasons 52! Our friend Katie, who used to live in Atlanta, recommended a fantastic baby-sitter. It's been a long time since we've had an adults-only dinner...thank you Bill & DeDe for the special treat!!

We also went to the High Museum to see the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibit. Vivi had a lot of fun with Grandma DeDe in the children's area...

Vivi really likes stickers these days. Notice in the picture below, she has our visitor stickers pasted onto her cheeks...

Here's Vivi with PaPa (that's what she calls Grandpa) filling the bird feeders. She pulled the big bag of seed for him and helped pour it into the feeders. Such a helper...

We also visited Stone mountain and took the cable car to the top...

It was very cold and windy up there, but the view was amazing!

The new car we picked up while we were in Atlanta. HAHA, just kidding...Bill's new "baby" that Damian had a blast driving. Isn't it pretty!

We had a really wonderful trip and visit and wish it could have been longer! Thank you Bill & DeDe for EVERYTHING!!! We have so many great memories now!

We made it back to Northwest AR safe and sound! Vivi entertaining herself in the play castle in the baggage claim area...
